CReDO – the Campaign for Responsible Dog Ownership and Stellamaris Dog Training are running a training week in Broadstairs, Kent from August 17th – 21st, 2015.
The week will comprise five days of one-to-one and group training for puppies and adult dogs and their handlers with an experienced, reward-based trainer. Each session will be tailored to the needs of the particpants but will include:
- A warm up
- Reward-based training tuition using clickers, bait and feedback
- Breed-specific tips
- Tips on using equipment such as GenCons, long lines and lures
- One-to-one attention and group work
- Non-competitive games and challenges
- Q & A session
- Hand out and preparation for the next day.
Teach your dog how to want to walk on a slack lead, come when called, stay in a sit or down when requested, go to a bed and more.
Puppy sessions (12 weeks to 6 months) | Monday – Friday 09.15 – 10.15 |
Adult dog sessions (6 months+) | Monday – Friday 10.30 – 13.30 14.00 – 17.00 |
Puppy sessions are £25 for the week, adult dog sessions £50.
Non-participating observers may attend at a fee of £10 for the week or £2 per session.
The training will take place on Broadstairs Cricket Ground, between Park Avenue and Grange Way, Broadstairs, CT10 2EY. Shelter is available if the weather is inclement.
Adult handlers only please and one hander per dog.
